Minor Midget AA team ROARS!! YOUR Tigers have won their second tournament of the season!
The team travelled down to the Motor City this past weekend (November 22nd - 24th) and was undefeated in great hockey play.
First game was played at the Joe Louis Arena with screaming fans in the stand (about 60 including the other team), the boys took the first game with a shutout for Matthew Tanel (our best goalie ever).
From there the boys took the second game 4 1 against Cooksville and then a close tie to Erie in the next game. That night (Saturday) the boys watched the Ottawa Senators win at the Joe Louise Arena and the highlight of the night was a Alfredsson Bobble Head.
The next morning (very early) was the semis where the Tigers won a close game vs. Erie again. Off to the finals with a very close game vs. Cooksville for the Championship.
Great hockey, great times and the best team ever made this weekend a success.
A big thanks goes out to Dayne our bus driver who not only said he would not drive the boys home without hardware, he made the trip safe and fun and hey the woman got to go shopping.

Atom - RS Tigers Make It To The Final Four
*Vaughan Rangers Select Tournament (November 14 - 17) * The Atom - RS Tigers played in their first tournament of the season this past weekend and it was a big success.
With strong teams from across the GTA in competition (including Forest Hill, Oakville, Vaughan, George Bell, and York Mills), the Tigers made it all the way to the Final Four.
Playing against the eventual tournament champions (Forest Hill Falcons) in the semi-final game, the Tigers battled hard, but unfortunately lost to the talented Falcons.
Feedback from opposing players, coaches, and parents was fully positive, as the Tigers were recognized for their skating, competitiveness, and sportsmanship.
"The Tiger Way" of playing hard, clean, and fair was evident throughout the tournament.
